Separation Anxiety

Genre:
Contemporary Romance

SYNOPSIS:

Separation. We all get one true love in our lives, and it’s up to us to find it. Fate will act and try to push us together, but ultimately it’s up to us to recognize who that one person is when he’s standing in front of us.

It turns out that I recognized who my one person was when I was separated from my husband.

Anxiety. On the same day I determined that I was finally going to file for divorce, I confessed my secret to Jesse Drake, my swoon-worthy colleague known for his womanizing ways. Jesse invited me to crash with him, and with each new piece of the enigmatic Jesse puzzle that I started to fit into place, I found myself wondering if Fate had pushed us together for a reason.

If only my husband would stop getting in the way of the man with whom I was meant to be.

REVIEW:
This book was absolutely amazing!!!
It had me hooked from start to finish and I found myself unable to put it down which made for a very late night!!! But it was well worth it.

(You might want to start the book at a descent hour not 10pm )

The book centers around Veronica 'V' Thomas, a High School English teacher, who's hiding a very big secret from everyone.
Her two year marriage to Richard has failed.  He's not the same man she married and the love she once felt for him is gone.  They're literally going through the motions, residing in the same house, not speaking.  It's a sign that its time to move on.

Jesse Drake is the school's guidance councilor.  He's wanted Veronica to be his since the first moment he saw her.  But he respected that she was in a relationship and seemed happy.  So he settled with them being friends.

When Veronica confides in him about her failing marriage he offers her the use of his spare room until she gets herself settled.

A much as Veronica wants to act on her feelings for Jesse, she decides that she can't happen until her marriage is over.
But the longer they're together the harder it gets for both of them.

Which raises more questions.
Will Richard let Veronica go? Will Jesse wait for her marriage to be over? Will they overcome all the obstacles and lies Richard throws at them both?

(You'll have to pick up the book and find out for yourself, you wont be disappointed!!!)

The writing was smooth and flowing and the words beautiful and powerful, making the characters come to life in my mind through the pages.  They speak to you on so many levels.

The book definatly has a bit of everything to keep everybody happy.
Its powerful love story.
Its sweet and emotional without making you cry ugly (which is a good thing at 2am).
Its HOT and STEAMY without going over board into the dirty department.
Its funny and light-hearted when it needs to be.
And there's even a little suspense and mystery thrown in.

***** of 5 stars (would rate it higher if I could)

Thank you Lisa for an amazing, beautiful story that brings my grans favourite saying to light. "Everything happens in life for a reason"
