“I hate you,” I whispered to Dominic.
“I know,” he replied as he put me down on the ground but didn’t let me go. He turned me to face him. “I have to ice that pretty face of yours, remember?”
I hated that I turned red again, and I hated Dominic even more for smiling at me because of it. When he turned us both to face his house, I stared wide-eyed. The two men that stood leaning against the doorframe were seriously sexy.
“Wow,” I whispered.
Dominic snapped his head at me and glared.
“Who’s the little beauty, bro?” the lad on the left asked.
Little beauty? I thought. Me?
Oh.
My.
God.
The man had dark hair like Dominic but it was long, it almost reached his shoulders. He had the same dimples when he grinned, his arms were huge with muscle and he had multiple tattoos. I could see this because he was shirtless. One tattoo was really colourful and wrapped around his arm and slithered up to his shoulder and neck.
The other lad was bare-chested as well; he had some tattoos and was muscular also. His hair was tightly cut to his head and he had a lot of scars on his torso and face that I could see from a good distance away, but he was still strikingly hot.
I found it very hard not to look at the oblique muscles they were both sporting, but I managed it, and I think I deserved a medal for it.
“Don’t even think about it Alec, she’s mine,” Dominic snarled making both the men grin.
Again with that? I thought. Seriously?
“Ahh,” the brother with the longer hair grinned. ”You must be Bronagh then?”
“How do you know me name?” I asked, confused.
Both the men grinned when Dominic snarled at them.
“Don’t mind them. The asshole talking to you is Alec, the prick on the right is Kane, and my other brother Ryder is in the house with Damien.”
Dominic, Damien, Alec, Kane and Ryder.
Oh, my God. Their names were just as sexy as they were.
“It’s a pleasure.” Kane said to me after a moment.
He looked like he was glaring at me, but when Alec murmured something to him; he smiled and scanned his eyes over my body openly.
I melted; he had such a stunning smile, which caused me to smile back at him. I didn’t even pay attention to the scar curved around his mouth because his smile was simply breath taking.
“The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Slater.” I purred.
Dominic’s hand suddenly grabbed hold of mine. “All right, that’s enough of that,” he said tugging me into him.
I felt my face and neck flush as I tried to push away from him. “What the hell, Dominic?” I snapped. “The past few weeks you annoy me from a distance but within the last half hour you won’t stop touchin’ me. What the hell, man?”
“Man,” Alec and Kane mimicked my accent in unison making each other chuckle.
I flicked my eyes towards them; I had them narrowed but when Kane laughed at my trying to get away from Dominic, I couldn’t keep it up for long.
“How old are you both?” I asked, smiling.
“Twenty-five,” Alec replied.
Kane cocked his brow. “I’m twenty-three, how old are you?”
“I’m eighteen today.” I replied.
“Happy birthday,” Alec and Kane said in unison making my insides flutter with delight.
“What?” Dominic asked, gaining my attention. “Today is your birthday?”
I looked at him and nodded.
He frowned. “Now I feel even worse for hitting you.”
“What?” Alec and Kane roared.
I jumped while Dominic flung his hands up in front of him in an ‘I surrender’ motion.
“It was an accident,” he stated. “Some prick hit her in school so I kicked his ass, but when she tried to pull me back, my elbow hit her face. I brought her here to ice it.”
Alec waved us forward. “Yeah, Dame told us about the fight but left her out of it.”
I was obviously her.
Dominic tugged me forward then, so I followed him back up the steps to his house. I had to turn so I could get by Alec’s shirtless, muscular body.
“I li-like your tattoos,” I stuttered.
And your mouth-watering face and body.
“Bronagh!” Dominic scowled at me when we got inside the beautiful house. “Stop it.”
I pulled my hand from his.
“What? I just said I liked his tattoos.” I frowned then pointed my finger dangerously at him. “I don’t know where you’re gettin’ off thinkin’ you can tell me what to do, Dominic, because you can’t, so stop it before I break a bone.”
He smirked at me. “You want to get physical with me, darling?”
“What?” I spluttered before licking my suddenly dry lips. “I think we need to go to the hospital with you, you’re sayin’ weird things and just actin’ out of character since that fight. I really think Jason hit you too hard on the head.”
Dominic’s brothers chuckled as they moved around us. I watched as they went into what I would have guessed to be a sitting room but turned out to be a home gym. That explained why they were shirtless and so buff; they were working out and clearly did it often.
“Are you going to stare at my brothers all day or are you going to come with me?” Dominic asked in an impatient tone.
I bit down on my lower lip. “If that is a legit question, I vote to stay here and stare at your brothers all day.”

ALEC

** Book #2 in the Slater Brothers series. **
Keela Daley is the black sheep of her family. She has always come second to her younger cousin Micah. Even in the eyes of her mother, Micah shone bright, and Keela faded to black. Now, in adulthood, Micah is a bride-to-be and the spotlight is solely on her. Keela is a low priority…or so she thinks.
Alec Slater is a bachelor, never one to bed the same woman, or man, twice. He is a free agent who does what he pleases and answers to no one; that is until a fiery Irish redhead with a temper to match her hair colour knocks him on his arse. Literally.
She hates to admit it, but Keela needs a favour from the cocky Slater brother, a huge favour. She needs him to not only escort her to Micah’s wedding, but to also pose as her boyfriend. Alec agrees to help Keela, but has certain conditions for her to abide by. He wants her body and plans to have it before anyone can say I do.
What he doesn’t plan on is losing his heart as well as the possibility of losing his family when someone from his past threatens his future.
Alec owns Keela, and what Alec owns, Alec keeps.

I focused on the kitchen table and began to stack up the magazines. When they were in a pile, I looked at the table and stopped for a second. I picked up the envelope that Mr. Pervert dropped off last night and sighed as I turned it over and ripped it open, not caring about the contents inside.
I turned the card in my hand over when I pulled it from the envelope. I opened the pretty cover and read the first line. I dropped the card on the table and stepped back.
“Oh, my God!” I said, staring down at the table.
“What?” Aideen asked as she came into the kitchen. I pointed at the card without looking away from it.
She moved around the table, picked up the card, and read it. “No fuckin’ way!”
I nodded my head.
“They invited you to their weddin’?” Aideen growled. “The sick bastards!”
I felt a little dizzy so I pulled out a chair from my kitchen table and sat down before I leaned my head forward and placed it on the table and let the tears come. “Why would they do this to me?”
“Because they are evil, pure bloody evil!”
I cried hard when Aideen began to read  the wedding invitation to Micah and Jason’s wedding aloud. She stopped midway, ripped the invite up, got her lighter from the kitchen drawer, and lit it on fire. I sat up straight and stared at her when she walked to the sink, dropped the burning invitation into the sink, and then poured water on it. The smoke alarm went off from the smoke so Aideen stood up on a chair, pulled the battery out of the alarm on the ceiling then got down and opened the windows in the apartment to air it out.
I didn’t move as she did all this; I could only sit there and cry.
“I still can’t believe I didn’t recognise Jason, I’m so stupid. I thought he really liked me. He was with me for six weeks just to get back at Micah for cheatin’ on him. That bastard made me fall for him and he knew it!”
Aideen moved in front of me and kneeled down. “You had never seen Jason in person; you don’t go round to Micah’s house, at all. The most you had seen were pictures of him on Facebook. He dyed his hair black and hit the gym since his school year ended. He isn’t the same person that’s on his profile picture. He looks very different so this is not your fault. He played you; that fucker took your virginity for fuck’s sake!” Aideen’s voice was getting louder and louder as she continued speaking, her anger at what Jason did to me getting more obvious.
I sobbed as I leaned forward and wrapped my arms around Aideen and squeezed.
“We will just pretend you never got that invite, okay? We’ll be here all day. I can arrange all my coursework for the students who are attendin’ summer school this year and you can write some more of your book. What do you say?”
I groaned and pulled back from our hug. “I can’t even think about writin’ at the moment. I just want to go to bed and not get up ever again.”
When Aideen slapped me across the face, it took me a few seconds for the pain and realisation of what she did to hit me. “What was that for?” I snapped and lifted my hand to my now throbbing cheek.
“For gettin’ yourself into a slump over a prick who does not deserve it!” Aideen stated.
I frowned and continued to rub my cheek as I said, “Sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry, not for anythin’. Okay?”
I nodded my head and hugged Aideen again and when we separated, I said, “I have to go to the weddin’. You know me ma will come round here and pester me for life if I don’t. If I go and sit down in the back of the church and reception, she won’t care.”
Aideen growled. “I hate your ma.”
I smiled making my friend chuckle.
“I just wish I didn’t have to go single. That will only make the entire day worse.”
“The entire week, actually. The weddin’ is in the Bahamas and you leave in the next few days.”
“What?” I screeched.
Aideen nodded. “That’s what the invitation said.”
“Fuck!” I groaned and hung my head.
We were silent for a moment until Aideen dramatically gasped which made me jump.
“What is it?” I asked.
She looked at me and said, “You’re goin’ to kill me, but I have a solution for you so you won’t be attendin’ the weddin’ as a single woman.”
I raised my eyebrows at her. “Yeah, what’s that then?”
“Not that, more like who?”
I furrowed my eyebrows. “Who then?”
Aideen smirked as she said, “Alec Slater.”

REVIEW

WARNING FROM THE AUTHOR
Recommended for readers aged 18+. Please heed this warning. If you don't like leading males that are possessive pr**ks, Dominic is NOT for you. If you don't like leading females that are stubborn bi**hes, Dominic is NOT for you. If you don't like characters who have bad tempers, Dominic is NOT for you. Most of all, if you don't like characters who CURSE A LOT and say EXACTLY what they feel and are thinking without sugar coating it then Dominic is REALLY NOT for you. I just want this warning in here so people will be aware of the book content, thank you! :)

Its taken me a few days to process this book, trying to formulate in my head the words I would use to describe this book.  Before you start thinking the worst case scenario, STOP, its not bad.  I'm trying to formulate words in my brain because its great and I want to express that greatness in this review because it deserves it.

The first thing that popped into my head was, Travis 'Mad Dog' Maddox, Remington 'Remy' Tate watch your back, Dominic Slater is coming your way and he's ready to rumble for your thrones!!!
Dominic is determined and what Dominic wants, Dominic gets. The only difference with this book is that the female lead Bronagh Murphy can dish out punishment just as good as she gets it!!!

After the death of her parents Bronagh Murphy shuts out the world and makes herself invisible to those around her.  She doesnt attract trouble, she just goes about her business and pretends that she's invisible. Unfortunately this makes her an easy target for bullies, which she takes and goes about her business.  Her mental scars, which i can so relate to, keeps her firmly locked behind a brick wall so high no one can penetrate it.
Till the day that Dominic and his twin brother Damien walk into her homeroom class that is.
Its almost like someone threw a can of gasoline and someone lit a match in her vicinity.  She goes from quite to damn angry and defensive in a nano second around Dominic and everything he said or does around her makes her see red, bringing out a side of Bronagh that not many have seen.  The fist-swinging-ass-kicking-cussing-like a sailor that's released whenever Dominic is near.
She's a breath of fresh air in female leads - she tells you like it is with some very colorful language that would leave a lot of mums in the old days wanting to wash out her mouth with soap and filling their swear jars in the space of a few hours.

Dominic and his 5 brothers move to Dublin, Ireland due to "family business" which you discover later on in the book is alot more complex then taking over from dad.
He's a fighter with lightning quick reflexes that earn him the nickname of "Rampage" in the top secret underground fighting circuit he participates in.
He's full of himself at time in the sense that he thinks the world revolves around his pretty boy status and at times he's a right royal pain in the ass that you just want to slap him around the head to knock some sense into him, but that's what makes his character great. He is who he is and he's not about to change for anyone. Did I mention he's arrogant???

He's determined to win Bronagh by any means possible and that turns him into this possessive beast that you cant turn off once he's been turned on. He talks with his fists now and asks questions later sometimes with dire consequences.
Bronagh see's red because as her sister puts it, she just cant admit that she likes Dominic and wants something more with him.  She's not afraid to swear at him or knock some sense into him literally with her fists. She becomes hotheaded around him, probably to hide her vulnerability.  She admits to him that she's afraid to let someone in because she's afraid to lose them as she did her parents.

This book is a roller coaster ride from start to finish with some unexpected turns and twists and you find yourself turning page after  page wanting to know what happens next.
You laugh at times till your belly hurts.
You cry when they do, and once or twice you find yourself wanting to wrap your arms around them and tell them that everything is going to be okay.
At times you get so angry that you just want to jump into the book and shout at them 'what the hell do you think you're doing' and other times you want to slap them silly.
You feel the tension both emotional and sexual. The sexual tension between them  makes you want to shout 'what are you waiting for' yet you respect how Bronagh waits till she's ready to go that extra step with Dominic, considering he'll be her first. Which makes their coming together that extra bit special and every bit meaningful.

This is one of those books that you feel every single emotion with the characters and for me that's one must have in an awesome book.

I loved Dominic and Bronagh, they're made for each other with their love/hate relationship. A clash of two powerful individuals and a definite yes to the opposites attract theory.  Although they balance each other out, almost like a ying/yang effect.

I'm so looking forward to the next books in the series!!

A very well deserved **** 1/2 stars!

Excerpt
"Are you sure you don't want to press charges, sweetie?"

I shook my head and scrubbed my face with my good hand while the female Garda asked

Dominic the same question for the fifth time. She was young, twenty-five at the most and was smiling and nodding her head at him every time he spoke, then cooing over him like a new nurse was when he winced over the needle digging into him while she stitched the cut under his eye that Branna's ring caused when she socked him one.

"He already told you he doesn't want to press charges against me sister, why are you being so repetitive?" I asked the Garda, the snarl in my voice not going amiss.

The Garda snapped her gaze to me and glared. "It is me job to ask the victim of attacks these types of questions more than once to make sure they are solid on their decision."

Yeah, sure it was.

I scoffed and asked, "Is it also your job to flirt with said victim while his girlfriend is sat

right next to him?"

The Garda had the decency to flush while the nurse stitching up Dominic's under eye went deathly quiet and stopped her cooing over him when he made noises of pain.

"Listen here, I was not flirtin'-"

"Yeah, you were, but you might as well give it up; he isn't interested in you. Right?"

When I looked to Dominic, I found him already watching me, which made my insides jump a little because his gaze was dark, and it was entirely focused on me.

"Right." He grinned just as the nurse finished up his stitches and moved away from him but only by a couple of inches.

I nodded to him then looked back to the Garda. "See?"

The Garda was about to go off on one at me, but she stopped and gawked as Dominic cleared his throat then stretched his arms over his head, which caused his biceps, triceps and all his other ‘ceps to flex and contract. He was barechested because Branna ripped his top when she 'attacked' him, and he had to throw it in the bin. I wasn't bothered by this, because he had such a sexy torso that I enjoyed getting the chance to admire it with my eyes.

Only my eyes weren't the sole pair doing the admiring and for the first time ever, I felt extremely jealous and extremely possessive of him. That's why I was pissy with the Garda and nurse; they openly raked their eyes over his body and shamelessly flirted with him while I sat right next to him. They mistakenly took me for his sister at one stage, which was fucked up, Dominic was smoking hot but he wasn't a damn God, I was not unworthy of possibly being his girlfriend no matter what anyone thought. He had flaws that his looks didn’t cover, and I had been the one turning him down for the past few weeks, so clearly it's not as far-fetched of an idea as these women thought it was.

"Your tattoo is gorgeous," the nurse’s voice said breaking me from my thoughts.

The Garda nodded her head in agreement.

I had a feeling I was about to be arrested for slapping both these fools upside the head if they didn't quit while they were ahead.

"Thanks ladies, my girlfriend agrees with you both." Dominic smiled and put his left arm around my waist.

Both the women openly frowned at his gesture, and it made me roll my eyes. They looked like they were given a puppy only for it to be taken away again.

"Is he finished here?" I asked the Garda and the nurse.

They both nodded even though I could tell they didn't want to.

"So can we leave then?" I asked, my tone completely snotty.

The Garda cut her eyes to me. "Do you have a problem-"

"Yeah, she does," Dominic cut the Garda off and smiled to her. "She sprained her hand a few hours ago and hasn't had any painkillers yet. We're collecting them from the 24 hour chemist on our way home as soon as I'm done here."

The Garda smiled to Dominic again, and I inwardly cursed her. She was clearly crap at her job if it all it took was a good-looking lad to distract her.

"I'll discharge you now," the nurse beamed to Dominic.

I rolled my eyes wishing the nurse who wrapped up my hand earlier was here instead. She was cool and not perverted like this young nurse.

"I'm done here, too, unless you do want to press charges. We can take this down to the station if you do."

I fucking bet she would just love to take him somewhere she had easy access to handcuffs!

"No thank you, I'm set on my decision." Dominic smiled again.

The Garda nodded, said goodbye, then left the room.

I fumed quietly for a few moments until I felt his eyes staring at me.

"What?" I mumbled without looking at him.

"You’re so fucking sexy," he growled and leaned into me, latching his lips onto my neck and sucking.

My body jerked as I jumped up away from him.

"Stop that, anyone could walk in here!" I scowled.

He only grinned at me. "Like I care, you being jealous and possessive of me has me hard

as diamond. I fucking love this side of you."

Hard as diamond?

Oh, God!

"Dominic," I gasped as I felt the blood rush up my neck to my cheeks.

He laughed at me. "You're going from sexy as fuck to adorable as hell. You're killing me here!"

I glared at him. "I'm about to kill you if you don't cut this out, I don't like it."

"Why are you crossing your legs then?" he asked me, grinning.

I looked down at myself and inwardly scowled. I was crossing my legs, and it was only then that I noticed the aching pain between my legs. I absentmindedly closed my legs to try and ease the ache and Dominic noticed.

"Shut up!"

He smiled at me. "If you come over to me, I'll take that ache away and turn it into immense pleasure."

I felt my core throb; the ache was hurting me so bad like it needed to be rubbed away. I squeezed my thighs tighter together, and it made Dominic lick his lips.

"I bet you're wet for me; I can practically feel how hot you are for me from all the way over here," he purred.

I closed my eyes and tried to ignore him and the throbbing.

"Come over to me, baby," he purred again.

I could feel my legs move before my brain registered anything; I opened my eyes when my knees knocked against Dominic's. He was grinning at me as he leaned his head down and brushed his nose off mine.

"What are you feeling right now? Tell me, pretty girl."

My breathing got a little heavier as I opened my mouth and said, "I feel hot...and achy."

Dominic nodded like he understood exactly how I was feeling.

"Is it a teasing ache?" he whispered, brushing his lips over mine.

I nodded. "Uh huh."

Dominic sucked my bottom lip into his bottom for a moment, then released it. "Your body knows what it wants and the more you hold back, the more that pretty little clit of yours pulses away as it demands my attention. It wants just my attention, right?"

I felt my knees buckle a little, so I used my good hand to latch onto Dominic's bare shoulder. I squeezed it when his hands came around my waist then drifted south and gripped my behind.

"Why are you doin' this to me? I'll kill you for this when I'm thinkin' clearly," I groaned and kissed him when he slapped my left arse cheek.

He kissed me hard and deep as he slid his right hand around to the front of my jeans and flicked his fingers over the front, unbuttoning and unzipping them within seconds.

"Dominic, please," I breathed against his mouth.

I wasn't sure if I was asking him not to touch me or begging him to touch, my mind was beyond dazed right now.

"Just relax baby and let me take care of you," he whispered as he dipped his hand down into the front of my knickers.

I gasped when his finger slid in-between my smooth, wet folds followed by his thumb that brushed over the tiny bundle of nerves that were causing me such aching pains.

"Bronagh, baby, you're fucking soaked," Dominic groaned as he caught my mouth it a kiss.

I couldn't kiss him back properly at all because when his thumb began a lazy pace of rotation around my swollen clit it caused me to go cross-eyed.

"Oh, God," I breathed against Dominic’s mouth.

He watched my face like what I was feeling somehow projected onto my facial expressions.

“Eyes on me,” he ordered.

The throbbing intensified with his demands and the need to have him touch me all over was becoming unbearable.

“Yes, yes! Don’t stop,” I pleaded and forced my eyes to stay on his.

"Does that feel good, pretty girl?" he whispered, rotating his thumb faster.

My hips bucked, and he smiled. "I'll take that as a yes, open your legs a little wider for me."

I shamelessly did as he asked and moaned a little out loud when his slid his finger down my folds and carefully dipped inside of me.

"That's a tight fit for just one finger babe, I can't wait to feel you wrapped around my cock. You're going to be the undoing of me, pretty girl, I know it."

After a few pumps of his fingers in and out of me, he moved back to my clit and rotated with a faster pace than before, and it had me making noises I didn't know I could make.

"Oh God," I gasped when I felt like my body was about to light on fire. "Okay, you can stop n-now Dominic it's gettin' too much I c-can't-"

"You're about to come baby, that's all that is. Let me make you come, pretty girl,"

Dominic spoke over me and took my mouth in his when I began to moan out loud.

He held his free hand tightly around me and when I tried to pull away from him, he gripped me even harder.

It was too much, I couldn't take the sensation Dominic was causing and I was about to scream for him to stop when dots suddenly spotted my vision and my body went limp as a hot tingling sensation attacked my body in waves, making me jerk and buck in his arms.

After a minute or two I blinked my eyes open when sound and vision returned to me and I was met with Dominic's face that was sporting a shit-eating grin.

"You look so fucking hot when you come, pretty girl," he said and he slowly removed his hands from my underwear and lifted them to his mouth where he licked and sucked them cleaned. "Hmm, you taste even better."

That was the moment that I chose to feel mortified. He..he just tasted me on his fingers, the fingers that were inside me.

Oh my God, what did I just do?

"Oh, Jesus," I breathed and looked down making Dominic lightly chuckle.

"Don't do it, Bronagh. Don't be embarrassed about what just happened. It was fucking beautiful and I won't let you play it off as anything but, do you understand me?"

I couldn't speak to him, I couldn't even look at him, and so he lifted my head by my chin until my gaze found his.

"Understand me?" he repeated.

I groaned. "I can't not be embarrassed! You...you just did that to me and then you...you-"

"Licked your come off my fingers? Yeah, I did, so what? It tasted great and I'm already looking forward to seconds."

Oh, my fucking God!

"Dominic! Don't say stuff like that to me, I've never done anythin’ like this before, ever. Well, except for the times we almost did it in your bedroom but still, this is huge for me and I don't know how to process what I'm feelin'-"

"Baby, you need to take a breath and calm the fuck down. This is natural, you had an orgasm, an orgasm that I made you have. Big fucking deal, it made you feel incredible, so why should you be embarrassed about that? I'm your boyfriend, this is what I'm good for. It’s pretty much all I'm good for."
