Synopsis:

I have read numerous of Lisa's books and this one has quickly become my favourite by far. Probably because I can relate to Quinn on a personal level.
Quinn has been hurt time and time again by lies, cheating and a whole heap of pain. Because of a horrible accident, caused by man she thought she loved, she now has severe panic attacks when she's in enclosed spaces.
Quinn has a thing for bad boys with dark eyes and hair and tattoos and her friend with benefits, Tyler fits this bill perfectly. They have fun together and they both know and accept that the fun is where their relationship starts and finishes.
Her life is going exactly where she wants it to go when she meets Reed Porter who is the exact oppostite of the kind of guy she goes for. Blue eyes, blond hair and zero tattoos.
Quinn isnt interested in commitment and she certainly doesnt want a relationship. What Reed does challenge her. Puts her in her place and he makes her nervous, something she's never around men.
Can Reed be the one to change her view on commitment and relationships? What will be the side effects of juggling two men at the same time?
Quinn is quirky and fun but she's her own worst enemy at times. She's a no nonsense, what you see is what you get kinda girl. Her snarky, bitchy comments left me laughing out loud at times, and with all the not so good things going on in real life, it felt good to laugh like that.
Tyler, or Talented Tyler as Quinn has labelled him is her "safe zone" so to speak. She knows, and he knows that their relationship is just about fun, nothing more, nothing less. I think she picks bad boys because she knows they'll never require anything more from her - she uses them just like they use her. Its probably to some extent to protect herself from getting hurt again.
Reed is the total opposite of Quinn's normal type. He's blond haired, blue eyed with virgin skin. A geek of sorts who drives a Prius. Except he's not your usual type of geek - he's a H.O.T geek.
He challenges Quinn, breaks down her defenses. He anticipates her thoughts and what she'll do next.
You don't know how life is going to turn out, all you have to do is take the chance and see where life leads you.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book - covered all the bases for me that a good contemporary romance should. Emotion, drama, two sexy book boyfriends, and a feisty leading lady.
